WOAHVID-19

Comparatively, this recent revelation brought about a notion of disparity between men’s and women’s fast fashion. You can think of it like fast food with quick service and okay quality. Whether certain pieces in your closet may not be seeing excessive usage or not, getting them at inexpensive prices can make all the difference when trying not to break the bank. With the aforementioned nuance between the sexes I felt the need to share some fast fashion sites and some tips in navigating the chaotic nature of online shopping while overcoming the gap.

Fast Fashion sites to check out

  • FashionNova– Many people are familiar with FashionNova and mainly associate it with women’s apparel only but not long ago they opened a separate collection for men’s apparel at rather reasonable prices.
  • BooHoo– Similarly to FashionNova, Boohoo originally started out for women and later made the transition to include a men’s collection. What separates Boohoo from other, is that they have more abstract pieces which is great for creating and curating a unique outfit from scratch.
  • ASOS– One of my personal favorite fast fashion sites mainly because turns the term on its head. ASOS is based in the UK but does an amazing job of integrating fashion and styles from both countries and has a wide variety of brands and original items and collections to choose from. Additionally with great promotions and regular sales.
  • H&M– While I wouldn’t consider H&M to be fast fashion they somewhat still have a fast fashion format to their online experience. I don’t shop here very often for a number of reasons. However, they do carry a nice assortment of pieces between different style types.
  • FEATURE– Another one of my favorites sites here! This is a bit less on the fast fashion side because they sell a variety of brands ranging Nike to OFF-White and Alexander Wang. They sell not just clothes but an array of sneakers and other shoes. Nonetheless, they are a formidable component to my arsenal of completing a look.
  • COS– I myself have just became hip to this site but I can definitely see myself returning but only seldomly because the of the pricing. While the prices did seem to match the quality of the pieces, the site overall had a very particular look to it.
  • ZARA– Zara is short and sweet. Never too much content to rummage through and always a great place to start when look for a dressy-casual look.

Lastly, I want to leave with three important tips when maneuvering the online shopping world.

  1. Firstly, never settle on one site from fatigue of looking- Staying steadfast can lead to you finding a better deal or a more qualified piece or outfit entirely.
  2. Make sure to not just read reviews but descriptions and details about materials/fabrics and durability as well. –Depending on what you’re in the market for you want to make sure you’re being diligent in the buying process.
  3. Lastly, be open to the changes that occur when stock and inventory notices arise. –Things go out of stock regularly, have a plan A,B and C!

Aside from the light banter, I want to also remind everyone to stay safe and prioritize your health above all. Trying times come and go and many of times we can be left with the broken parts left from them. Keep the faith and get ready to drip or drown soon!

Until Next Post…

I had much fun with this project over the semester and I’ve had not regrets, but if there was anything I could include or improve on it would be to have more people come into the blog. I wanted to shoot more video footage and incorporate more vlog aspects into my blog while still hitting…

All Things Vague Except The Vision

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that our upbringings shape our goals. I can recall back when I was in high school and my mother didn’t want me to have a job while I was in school. Consequently, I couldn’t just sit by and do nothing; with money saved up from…
